2011 CUC Junior Results

I wanted to thank everyone who have helped with their time in shaping the players on OverDrive 2011. Your efforts have been appreciated and now you will be able to see the results of our effort to showcase some amazing junior players.

As Margaret Mead said, “never doubt that a small group of committed Ultimate! people can change the world, indeed it’s the only thing that ever has.”

First, to all the junior aged players who have a desire to improve their character and Ultimate! skills and to their parents for their financial support.
Carla Difilippo and Evan Phillips who were instrumental in shaping the partnership between touring players and coaching.
We are fortunate to have Jordan Meron, Rhyin Newell and Hadiya Roderique sharing their knowledge and experiences this year.
Guest apperances by David Tingle, Kelly Nakamura, Jooeun Lee at Summer Experience.
Michael Jones and his work in organising some GOAT and CAPS/Lotus players for an “old school v. new school” session.
Warren Tang for helping with the GTA AllStar: rawhides during the fall.
Alumni junior players, Ali Issett, Alyona Koulanova, Brandon Lusty, Adrianna Rowe, Isaiah Masek-Kelly, Alex Vlahos, Nima Mostaghimi, Erin Bussin and Jason Liu
Joe Zicaro & Pete Bowman, for their mentorship and ability to help out in a pinch.
Diana Davis for chaperoning the past two years.
Adriana Withers and VC Ultimate for their wonderful support with our merchandise and uniforms.
Nat Fitzgerald for her amazing work at scheduling our games.
Jason Robinson, Nina Ramic, Ian Brooks and the Toronto Ultimate Club for their belief and support of the junior program.

With this support over these past two years, this team has been growing by “skys and layouts” and the current players have benefited and have had an amazing time.
